Remembering the good old days....

Today I was on my way to office in a bus in the morning hours. Bus, as usual was filled with commuters and college students travelling on foot board. Foot board travelling here is a fun for everyone, especially for college students. They were shouting, making jokes, pulling the legs of the conductor and making comments on the footpath travellers. It was fun watching them doing these things, though it is not advisable. A bunch of friends from a college (footboard travellers) were making fun of all and girls were too enjoying their comments and were laughing loudly and backing them.

It reminded me of my college days, no I dont mean that I too was an foot board traveller, but I was a cycle rider for almost 5 years. I just remembered what we used to do in college hours and how we used to make comments on others. But I never got into such acts of passing comments or playing pranks, may be due to the fact that I was not fun loving. I used to bother only about my studies and nothing else, so never got to enjoy such momments.

Now I would like to do all such things but my age wont permit me to do that. Hope I would get back to that time and live a college student life again!!!

Can the situation be changed??

There is a saying

“Matru Devo Bhava…Pitru Devo Bhava”

It just means that revere Mother & Father as God. It’s very difficult to define the role of father or mother.

But today’s children perception towards there parents has changed. Especially when children grow young and have their family, the story is completely different, as their parents become old. The new genera think that parents are a big trouble to them. There love towards their parents starts declining with the time.

They try to overlook their parents and their needs. They are so busy in their schedule that they even forget to pay attention towards their old parents. They never try to understand this the time their parents need more attention and love from them. They do forget that their thoughts are similar to like a small child, which needs constant attention of every one near to it. They do forget that their parents have lot of dreams, which are needed to be filled. They do even forget that these (parents) were the one who took care of them when they were small, they do forget how much time their parents spent on them and how much sacrifices there parents made for them.

Are these things to be explained to new genera and should they be forced to take care & provide extreme love to their parents??? Or the old parents to be sent to old age homes????
Don’t ever forget, we (young generation) have to cross the same phase in our life.

Learning at school

It is natrual scene at school campus during the march-april month when students are busy in writing exams, so as to score good percentage. What really matetrs to the parents and teachers is how each child is performing in his studies, what is the rank secured in annual exams. Childrens get happy when they secure good rank and are very excited to move into the higher class.

No one is even bothered what a child studies during his course work, whether he is inculcating it in him, whether he is accquiring good habits and manners of how to behave with the people and in public. As per my experience, I have seen that these children grow up securing good percentage of marks and move to higher studies but not a single person is even bothered about his behaviour in public. It is very common scene where many educated people dont behave in a proper manner or misbehave at social gatherings or get together parties. Is this the level of eductaion what they have learnt??

Education means to learn and gather knowledge and to apply the same in his/ her life. But no, now education now a days have become an place where you obtain a degree and nothing more than that......
